Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting | Wheaton ,IL
Our client, a publicly traded global manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Financial Reporting and Global Consolidations team.
Salary:
$90K-$120K

Responsibilities: Senior Accountant
Assist with preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), including disclosures, MD&A, and XBRL
Support monthly consolidated financial reporting and internal management packages
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidation schedules
Review foreign subsidiary financials for US GAAP compliance
Assist with global consolidations and intercompany activities
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits
Support earnings releases, proxy statements, and audit schedules
Partner cross-functionally with Tax, FP&A, Treasury, IT, HR, and Legal
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting and controls
Qualifications: Senior Accountant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience
CPA strongly preferred
Background in public accounting or industry with SEC reporting exposure
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Experience with consolidations in a global environment preferred
Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven Senior Accountan t
