Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift surgical position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent OR experience.
Responsibilities
Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital setting
Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
13-week contract assignment
Care for adult surgical patients in a perioperative environment
Responsibilities include providing perioperative RN care for surgical patients
Complete and submit a full application, references, skills checklist, and nursing license verification
Copies of all certifications are required for consideration
Requirements
Active TX or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year recent OR nursing experience
Current AHA or ARC BLS certification (must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSN accepted) and date of birth required for consideration
