Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a MD or compact license and proficiency in multiple surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
Work in the hospital's Operating Room setting
Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Weekend and on-call schedules to be determined by the facility
Handles surgical cases including GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative nursing care
Accountable for quality of care delivered to surgical patients
Must document nursing care according to professional guidelines
May only request up to 5 days of time off
Requirements
Active MD or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Current BLS (AHA) certification required
COVID-19 vaccination required; declinations not accepted
Minimum of 2 years recent General OR experience required
Demonstrated experience in GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics surgeries
