Professional Engineer - Wastewater, Recycled Water, Water Infrastructure
Location: San Francisco, CA
Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Conduct or oversee technical analyses, including hydraulics, feasibility studies, and design reports.
Develop preliminary and final engineering designs, including construction documents.
Provide bid and construction phase support, such as reviewing contractor submittals, responding to RFIs, and evaluating change proposals.
Serve as project manager for major or multiple smaller projects, defining scope, budgets, and schedules.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with scope, budget, and timeline.
Prepare clear and concise technical reports and presentations.
Act as primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
Supervise and mentor a small team of engineers and technical staff.
May serve as a subject matter expert, offering training and presentations internally or externally.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
8-10 years of relevant engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong project management skills and ability to lead teams.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, GIS, and modeling programs.
