About OMNI Transloading & Logistics by AGS: Our logistics branch –OMNI– is a Florida-based logistics group recognized as a leader in

rail transloading, bulk logistics, integrated warehousing and distribution services.

It operates

seven facilities

with over 400,000 sqft of warehouse space. Each year, it handles more than 2,000 railcars and over 5,000 import containers. It collaborates with all major U.S. railroads, including CSX, FEC, UP/Loup, NS, and Patriot Rail.

multimodal offering

by integrating ocean, rail, and truck services under a unified client‑centric approach. It broadens our footprint in key U.S. terminals including Miami, Tampa, and Odessa (TX).

Position Summary OMNI is seeking a seasoned and strategic Sales Director – Transloading with

extensive experience in rail transloading, port operations, warehousing, and containerised logistics.

This senior role is responsible for leading OMNI’s commercial growth, designing and

executing the commercial strategy , developing the sales pipeline, and strengthening our position within Florida as well as domestic and international markets.

The ideal candidate

brings 12+ years of proven success in logistics and transportation sales , specifically in areas such as rail carload & rail intermodal, transloading solutions, drayage, cross‑dock operations, and warehouse distribution services. This leader must have the ability to build high‑level relationships, negotiate strategic opportunities, and guide the Business Development team.

The Sales Director will act as a key commercial driver for OMNI, ensuring the company maintains strong market presence and pursues profitable opportunities across all logistics verticals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop OMNI’s commercial strategy across transloading, rail logistics, warehouse distribution, drayage, FTL/LTL, and port‑driven cargo flows.

Lead, mentor, and support the Sales BDM and commercial team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

Establish annual revenue targets, define pipeline expectations, and monitor KPIs for all commercial activities.

Build a scalable commercial structure that supports long‑term growth.

Business Development & Market Expansion

Identify and secure high‑value opportunities in rail transloading, port operations, warehousing, and transportation.

Build strong executive‑level relationships with shippers, NVOCCs, freight forwarders, exporters/importers, railroads, and logistics partners.

Originate and lead negotiations for large accounts, multi‑service programs, and long‑term contracts.

Expand OMNI’s presence in Florida, while developing opportunities in national and international markets.

Account Management & Customer Retention

Oversee top strategic accounts, ensuring service excellence, account growth, and customer satisfaction.

Support the commercial team in account retention strategies, pricing decisions, and service reviews.

Maintain strong rapport with key customers, serving as a senior point of escalation and relationship management.

Stay informed on trends in rail transloading, port logistics, trucking, warehousing, and intermodal operations.

Anticipate customer needs by understanding how market factors affect their supply chains.

Identify areas for new service offerings and enhancements to OMNI’s value proposition.

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with operations to ensure commercial commitments match operational capabilities.

Ensure consistent and accurate CRM reporting and pipeline visibility.

Lead cross‑functional meetings with operations, finance, and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

12+ years of commercial leadership experience in logistics, transportation, transloading, port operations, or rail‑related services.

Extensive knowledge of rail transloading, railcar load and rail intermodal, drayage, FTL (dry & reefer), LTL, cross‑docking, warehouse distribution services, and containerised cargo operations.

Proven success leading sales teams and achieving significant revenue growth.

Established industry network across railroads, port sectors, transportation providers, and major shippers.

Valid U.S. driver’s licence; able to pass background and reference checks.

Ability to travel up to 30% and attend corporate events.

Strong negotiation, communication, and executive relationship‑building skills.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; bilingual English–Spanish strongly preferred.
