About the Team Klaviyo’s Data Infrastructure pillar is responsible for a centralized, scalable data store. The Events Team owns the platform’s largest dataset – event data used for messaging, analytics, reporting, and downstream use cases.
What you’ll need
4+ years of product management experience, ideally with highly technical or infrastructure products.
Strong understanding of data architecture concepts – databases, data lakes, event‑driven systems, query optimization.
Familiarity with systems such as ClickHouse and distributed data stores.
Ability to analyze query patterns, understand internal data usage, and define scalable strategies for event data.
Experience balancing technical depth with business impact.
Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
Passion for scalability, efficiency, and product craft.

Take ownership of the systems and strategies that make event data fast, reliable, and cost‑effective.
Optimize query performance and patterns to serve data efficiently without affecting customer experience.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to evolve the event model and align with overall data strategy.
Deliver business impact by enhancing platform scalability and optimizing event processing efficiency.

Take ownership of the Events roadmap.
Become the go‑to expert for a key product area.
Shape and launch your first product features.

Formulate strategy and roadmap for your product area.
Contribute to knowledge sharing within the product team.
Coach and mentor other product managers.
Salary and benefits Base pay range: $140,000 – $210,000 USD (US locations). Compensation may include bonus plan, variable compensation, equity, sign‑on payments, and a comprehensive benefits package.
