Sales & Procurement Manager - heavy equipment resale (#34625)
A global industrial heavy equipment resale company in the
San Francisco Bay area
is looking for a
Sales & Procurement Manager
to join their company. Ideal candidate will have heavy equipment sales and procurement experience with good understanding of manufacturer’s needs.
Responsibilities
Grow and develop customer relationships throughout the NorCal area
Purchase or consign heavy equipment for company auctions. Responsible for the procurement of used construction equipment
Manage vendors and handle logistics domestically and internationally
Reporting directly to VP: develop territory throughout the Northern California region, managing all client and prospective transactions.
Build on a network of rental companies, contractors and dealers to source purchases.
Appraise, negotiate and purchase equipment maximizing revenue and profit.
Work both remotely and from the office. (hybrid)
Other job duties are assigned as needed
Qualifications
5 years’ experience in construction equipment sales/purchasing
Familiarity with Excel and CRM software
Ability to communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field
Must be able work remotely from home and also travel up to 80% (as needed)
Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary: $145,000.00 - $165,000.00
