Where You’ll Work Local VITAS office in San Francisco, CA.
What You’ll Do
Join the senior leadership team for a VITAS service area, ensuring that the clinical, financial, and operational aspects of hospice run smoothly.
Support all members of the interdisciplinary team—including nurses, social workers, chaplains, and others.
Coach team members, consult on clinical matters, and lead performance‑improvement initiatives to elevate the patient experience.

Blend leadership skills and clinical expertise to effectively manage a team and ensure quality and continuity of care for patients.
Maintain patient welfare at the center of all actions while embodying VITAS values: Commitment, Compassion, and a Can‑do Attitude.
Hold an RN license and have at least four years of healthcare management experience.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of operation.
Minimum two years of home health and hospice experience.
Four years of healthcare management experience.
Hands‑on fiscal and budgetary experience.
Experience managing a team of leaders.
State Specific Requirements (California)
Hold an RN with a BSN or related field.
Three years of recent experience in hospice, home health, primary care clinic, or health facility.
One year in a supervisory or administrative position.
