Overview
Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility to support Kadiak and our government customer in Washington, DC. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting custom-built applications for the FBI's investigative and intelligence workforce as part of the Investigative and Intelligence Application Unit (IIAU). The primary work location is Patriots Plaza in Washington DC (with a possible work location of Mission Ridge in Chantilly, VA upon special request and client approval). Some telework flexibility may be available on a case-by-case basis. Responsibilities
Design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of the FBI IT infrastructure. Programmatic integration of third-party components and introduction of new custom capabilities. Modify existing code, propose process improvements, and automate operations and maintenance tasks. Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle: planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. Conduct technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and knowledge transfer of development best practices. Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field 7+ years of experience in software development Experience with web-based application development and operational support Strong understanding of the software development life cycle Knowledge of operations and maintenance (O&M) to ensure application security and efficiency Experience with programmatic integration of third-party components Ability to develop and maintain custom-built products Preferred
Familiarity with technical project milestone reviews and code architecture sessions Experience with collaborative development for internal and external partners Knowledge of resource estimation and development best practices Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint Clearance
