The Role We’re looking for a strategic and consultative business development leader who thrives at the intersection of marketing strategy, digital media, and client partnership. This role is an exciting opportunity to build a book of business from the ground up. You’ll join a highly collaborative team of specialists (client partnership, campaign strategy, creative design, market insights, and more) and be empowered to work fluidly within a self‑organizing environment. Key Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—for brand‑side marketers and agency partners

Identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities with brand‑side marketers and agency partners

Collaborate closely with other vertical team members to ensure a compelling, consultative sales experience that drives long‑term value

Deliver Strategic Solution

Understand each brand’s unique marketing challenges through active listening and thoughtful discovery

Educate clients on how the associated VDX.tv solutions can address their specific challenges

Lead client discovery, pitch, and consultative strategy sessions—both independently and with other team members

Maintain a strong understanding of marketing strategies in the vertical industry team you join

Build strong, trusted relationships with brand‑side marketers and agency teams

Represent VDX.tv at client meetings, conferences, and industry events

What We're Looking

8+ years of experience in business development, account strategy, or client partnership within digital marketing, advertising, or media—including agency or ad‑tech environment

Proven track record in new business development within the AdTech industry

Strong ability to discuss a brand's marketing strategy with senior marketers

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and relationships at all levels

Experience managing client relationships of all levels, including with senior executives at brands and agencies

Proven success in consultative selling and client marketing strategy

Strategic thinking balanced with strong execution capabilities and a hands‑on approach

Self‑motivated with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations

Growth mindset with a hunger to learn
