Join a patient-focused donor center as a Phlebotomist. You'll perform safe, high-quality venipuncture, monitor donors and equipment, document accurately, and protect confidentiality throughout the donation process.
Key Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture; monitor donors for reactions and intervene per protocol
Set up, operate, disconnect, and sanitize plasmapheresis/collection equipment
Support donor eligibility/suitability workflows and complete required documentation
Maintain PHI security and HIPAA compliance; follow SOPs, infection control, and PPE use
Conduct in-process quality checks; maintain accurate logs, lot/shift records, and labeling
Communicate clearly with donors and teammates; escalate issues promptly
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Superior customer service and communication skills
MediClear Certification (or equivalent HIPAA credential) — required
Ability to work a flexible schedule (days/evenings/weekends/holidays as needed)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; maintain confidentiality
Physical & Work Conditions
Stand/walk 6–8 hrs/shift; frequent hand/foot movement; occasional bending/twisting
Lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
Clinical environment with potential biohazard exposure and freezer temps below 32°F
Required PPE: protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold-gear as needed
Visual/hearing acuity sufficient for safe clinical work
