Position: General Manager
Location: Battle Creek, MI
Base Compensation: 160,000-170,000
Working Environment: Onsite role, 4 day work week
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to oversee daily operations and drive performance across its facility. This role will lead production, safety, quality, supply chain, and team development while supporting long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities for General Manager:
Lead all functional departments including production, engineering, quality, HR, and supply chain Oversee daily operations and ensure production goals are met Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles Manage budgets, P&L, and performance metrics Build and mentor a high-performing team and foster a culture of accountability Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards Collaborate with supply chain and customer teams to ensure quality and delivery
Ideal Candidate for General Manager Role:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior role Strong background in lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and team development Proven ability to manage financials and drive results Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
