Capital Markets Vice President – Newmark, New York, NY

We are seeking an experienced Capital Markets Vice President to join our NYC team and support the execution of commercial real‑estate financing and securitization transactions, including CMBS and CLO deals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of offering documents, annexes and other transaction materials to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency prior to securitization.
- Supervise the collection and analysis of loan‑level and property‑level due diligence, ensuring alignment with investor and rating agency standards.
- Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships with accountants and legal counsel.
- Assist reviewing large‑loan write‑ups and offering documents for accuracy and consistency, and complete data tapes for CMBS and CLO securitization transactions.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders—including originators, underwriters, legal counsel and accountants—to ensure timely completion of deal milestones.
- Support the development of standardized procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy across transactions.
- Work with a range of clients (financial institutions, REITs, private equity funds and hedge funds) to execute bespoke commercial real‑estate securitizations on a principal or agented basis.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in structured finance; CMBS or CLO transactions and prior securitization experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in finance, business administration, economics, real estate or mathematics.
- Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg or other fixed‑income analytical tools; exposure to databases and/or programming languages is a plus.
- Firm understanding of the principles of finance, real estate, securitization and business operations.
- Detail‑oriented, with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality control.
- Strong leadership and project‑management skills with attention to detail and accountability.
- Effective communication skills to interact with functional partners, clients and rating agencies.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and quickly changing environment.
- Strong team player with organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 annually, plus base‑salary data dependent on experience and other factors. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses and other short‑ and long‑term incentives.
