Job Description

Job Requirements:
Join GDIT and provide critical on-site Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) expertise and counsel to senior-level clients in direct support of Headquarters, Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for ISR and Cyber Effects Operations (CEO) (AF/A2/6).
Responsibilities:
- Makes recommendations and provides expert counsel to senior Headquarters, Air Force ISR and CEO staff;
- Provides strategies, recommendations, and courses of action for improving AF ISR forces and readiness into the next decade and beyond;
- Provides readiness subject matter expertise for the improvement of ISR warfighting and to ensure future operational success;
- Provides recommendations on enterprise modernization activities and cross-functional compatibility across the Air Force, with the Joint and Intelligence Communities;
- Applies practical knowledge of USAF structure and defense-level intelligence operations; intelligence, collection, fusion, analysis, and other ISR capabilities;
- Collaborates with the broader GDIT team and the customer, earning team members and the customers' trust, and presenting innovative solutions to ensure enduring team culture of excellence & top-notch ISR support;
- Represents the customer at conferences, technical exchanges, and data working groups across the DoD, Intelligence Community, industry, and with coalition partners; and
- Prepares staff packages, presentations, position papers, and other correspondence in support of the customer.
Qualifications:
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility with ability to obtain SCI access
- MS degree and 8 years of related ISR experience, or 14 years of combined experience in lieu of degrees
- Eight+ years of experience with either/or ISR operations or force readiness
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Power Point, Excel)
- Special skills or qualifications (at least 2 required):
Experience working with DRRS or other readiness-related reporting mechanisms;
Knowledge of the relationship of the various Air Force entities involved in the Air Force and Joint readiness processes, with a focus on ISR elements;
Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of Air Force readiness to include joint readiness products. - Skill in designing and conducting comprehensive readiness studies and preparing solutions to especially broad, important, and severe ISR readiness challenges; and
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills, and ability to work successfully with senior leadership in a dynamic environment.
Additional Preferences:
- Advanced degree in related field;
- MAJCOM staff or experience on the Air Staff A2/6; or equivalent sister Service, Joint, or OSD staffs working readiness and/or force management issues;
- Knowledge of AF military ISR (ISR platforms, collection management, DCGS, AOC ISRD, Analysis, Targeting, etc..) as it applies to assigned readiness programs;
- Knowledge of the CJCS Readiness System; and DoD, CJCS, and AF readiness policies, procedures, reporting timelines, and requirements;
- Ability to negotiate complex issues and maintain good working relations with teammates
