Soni is partnering with a company seeking a CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) or VP of Revenue Cycle Management to lead all aspects of the revenue cycle for a rapidly expanding healthcare group. This senior executive will oversee billing, coding, collections, payer relations, and financial strategy while improving KPIs and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate is strategic, data-driven, and experienced in leading RCM within a complex, multisite healthcare organization.

Base Pay Range

$200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize the full revenue cycle, including billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement
  • Develop and execute strategic RCM initiatives to improve cash flow and KPIs
  • Oversee payer contract reviews and lead reimbursement negotiations
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on financial strategy and performance
  • Monitor metrics such as A/R days, denial trends, and reimbursement performance
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Present RCM insights, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to executives and board members
  • Strengthen workflows and implement best practices across clinics and surgical centers
  • Influence and align cross-functional teams across finance, operations, and clinical leadership
  • Stay current with industry changes, reimbursement trends, and regulatory updates

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive revenue cycle experience within healthcare
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience within an orthopedic, surgical, or multidisciplinary practice preferred
  • Strong background in payer negotiations and managed care strategy
  • Proven track record improving KPIs and operational performance
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge of billing, coding, reimbursement, and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field
  • Experience supporting large-scale clinic expansion
  • Proficiency with EMR/RCM platforms (CareCloud preferred)
  • Experience influencing organizational change in a high-growth environment

Compensation

$200,000 - $300,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
