Business Travel Sales Manager

Location: On‑site at The Marker, 501 Geary Street, San Francisco, CA
Schedule: 45‑hour workweek (Overtime Eligible)
Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000 annually (40.49/hr - 50.61/hr)
Bonus Eligible: Up to 35% quarterly + 10% annually

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and relationship‑oriented Business Travel Sales Manager to lead our transient sales efforts. This role manages corporate negotiated accounts, consortia and TMC partnerships, and channel mix strategies in collaboration with Revenue Management and Marketing. If you excel at building client relationships and driving profitable room nights, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Account Management

Direct solicitation efforts and manage rate, date, and space commitments.

Lead corporate RFP cycles; manage key corporate, consortia, and TMC accounts.

Optimize channel mix and rate integrity to achieve ADR, RevPAR, and market share goals.

Client Engagement

Build strong relationships with new and existing clients to generate repeat business.

Conduct persuasive sales presentations, site tours, and client entertainment.

Travel locally and represent the hotel at trade shows and industry events.

Reporting & Communication

Prepare forecasts, Booking Reports, STAR reports, sales meeting minutes, and lead management updates.

Research industry trends and recommend strategies to improve performance.

Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams; attend required meetings.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation Structure

This role is overtime eligible with:

  • 40 hours at the regular hourly rate
  • 5 hours at 1.5×
  • Total annual earnings will align with the offered salary within the $100,000–$125, /hr - 50.61/hr) range.
  • 9 paid holidays
  • 2 weeks’ vacation accrued from date of hire (usable after 6 months)
  • 401(k) with up to a 50% match on an 8% contribution
  • Medical, Dental & Vision coverage starting the 1st of the month after 30 days
  • $75 monthly phone reimbursement
  • $104 monthly commuter benefit

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience managing corporate negotiated accounts & RFP cycles
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Delphi, PMS/CRS, GDS, and Cvent
  • Solid understanding of revenue management and channel profitability
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with client‑facing travel
