The Role

The Head of Sales, Catering & Growth will act as M&G’s commercial engine — leading all revenue strategy across drop-off catering, DO+, events, partnerships, and emerging streams. You will manage the sales team, shape the outbound strategy, elevate our marketing efforts, and steward key high-volume client relationships. This role reports directly to Ownership and operates alongside the Director of Operations.

What You'll Lead

  • Own the full sales strategy across drop-off, DO+, events & new revenue streams
  • Build and lead outbound initiatives targeting corporate, creative, fashion/beauty & brand partners
  • Identify new verticals and long-term growth opportunities
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management & performance reporting

Client Relationship Management

  • Oversee VIP and high-value accounts
  • Lead high-profile proposals, tastings, walk-throughs & negotiations
  • Protect margins through smart pricing, budgeting & cost control
  • Lead and develop the Sales Team (Event Managers + Coordinators)
  • Set KPIs, performance expectations, and follow-up discipline
  • Build a positive, high-performance sales culture that reflects M&G’s values

Marketing, Brand & Partnerships

  • Oversee seasonal campaigns, outreach, newsletters & partnerships
  • Ensure all marketing efforts directly support revenue objectives
  • Represent M&G at industry events, activations & networking opportunities
  • Own CRM accuracy, sales reporting & analytics
  • Partner closely with Operations + Kitchen to ensure alignment
  • Continuously refine SOPs, workflows & communication systems

Who You Are:

  • 7–12+ years in catering, hospitality & event sales
  • Proven success building outbound sales engines and closing high-value corporate accounts
  • Strong leader with experience managing sales teams
  • Deep understanding of NYC drop-off/off-premise catering and pricing models
  • Financially fluent: forecasting, margin protection, revenue strategy
  • Thrives in a creative, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills and mindset.
