About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Ultrasound Technician with a vascular focus to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, takes pride in producing high-quality studies, and values being part of a calm, respectful clinical environment. You’ll primarily perform venous duplex and reflux studies, assist with image-guided vein procedures, and play a key role in patient education and comfort throughout the visit.
What You’ll Do
Perform venous reflux studies, venous mapping, and limited arterial exams as ordered Prepare patients for ultrasound exams and explain procedures in a clear, reassuring way Accurately measure, document, and record findings for physician interpretation Assist physicians during ultrasound-guided vein procedures (endovenous ablation, sclerotherapy, etc.) Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and ready for use Maintain a clean, organized ultrasound room Work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Follow all HIPAA, safety, and infection-control protocols
What We’re Looking For
RVT or RVS certification required 1–2+ years of vascular ultrasound experience (venous experience strongly preferred) Solid understanding of venous anatomy, pathology, and reflux protocols Strong patient-care and communication skills Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a busy clinical setting EMR experience preferred
