Position Summary ColdSnap is seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations while ensuring the smooth running of our headquarters. This hybrid role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who thrives in a startup environment, balancing accounting rigor with day‑to‑day administration. Key Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, G/L, Treasury, bank reconciliations, expense reporting, and month‑end close Ensure GL accounts are properly supported and reconciled monthly Maintain the company's system of accounts and records on all company transactions and assets Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management Oversee and improve internal financial controls and reporting systems Coordinate with external accountants for audits, corporate income tax filings, and compliance Support inventory accounting and cost tracking for manufacturing Track capital expenditures and fixed asset depreciation Manage and maintain business insurance policies Ensure sales tax and use tax compliance across jurisdictions Prepare and file other annual tax filings, such as 1099, 3921, and franchise taxes Payroll experience for back‑up to HR Other ad‑hoc reporting as requested Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or startup environment Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Acumatica, NetSuite experience a plus) Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Able/comfortable communicating across the organization Strong attention to detail, well‑organized, solution‑oriented Startup or high‑growth company experience preferred Why Join ColdSnap?
