Key Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst
- Manage month-end closing procedures and reconcile the general ledger
- Prepare monthly reporting packages and analyze the company's financial performance versus the budget
- Develop and analyze key operational and accounting data for variance analysis, profit/loss statements, KPI reports, and monthly performance presentations
- Assist in long-term financial planning and annual budget preparation
- Support the preparation of leadership and board-level presentations
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
Qualifications of the Financial Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or a related role
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Hyperion Planning/SmartView and Oracle a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to leadership confidently
