About the Position: Our client, a leading global law firm headquartered in Chicago, has an active need for a litigator to join its sophisticated practice as a mid-level associate. This practice is nationally recognized and serves a prestigious client base across the globe, handling litigation matters across state and federal courts. Highlights: · Named among the “Best Companies to Work For” (law firm category) by U.S. News & World Report · Firm offers strong career development support · Work closely with partners in the group · Opportunity to participate in business development and client-facing activities · Mentoring program for soon-to-be or new parents learning how to balance their personal and professional lives Responsibilities: · Assist with representing clients in courts nationwide as well as before federal agencies · Lead oral arguments · Take and defend depositions Required Qualifications: · 3-5 years of complex commercial litigation experience · Case management experience · Significant party and third-party discovery experience · Strong research, writing and advocacy writing skills Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $240,000 – $280,000.
