Base Pay Range

$250,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of US Statutory (STAT) and GAAP financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely Blue Book reporting, asset schedules, and regulatory filings.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with rating agencies, investment management diligence, and regulatory requirements. Partner with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise financial controls, risk management, and reinsurance accounting. Implement best practices for financial systems and reporting efficiencies.
• Leadership: Establish and oversee accounting, financial reporting, and capital management functions. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, MBA, or CFA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience within life insurance/reinsurance.
• Deep expertise in STAT, GAAP, and insurance accounting.
• Knowledge of MYGA, FIA, and other life insurance products highly desired.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and drive results under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
