Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to lead our maintenance team and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting, schematic reading, and welding ? and takes pride in keeping equipment and facilities in optimal working condition.
This role is key to maintaining safe, efficient, and continuous production by overseeing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and providing strong technical mechanical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Conduct welding, fabrication, and field repairs as needed.
Monitor work areas for safety hazards, report issues, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Maintain facility grounds and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
Because this role involves driving, we require a valid license and a safe driving history.
Must be able to perform basic mechanical tasks.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficient in welding and basic fabrication.
Skilled in electrical troubleshooting; experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks involving bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and preventive maintenance best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
