We are looking for an amazing Business Analyst, Performance Analytics to fill this role, which is based in our Doral office. The Business Analyst at Performance Analytics is responsible for driving analytical initiatives across Onboard Revenue (OBR) categories to generate actionable insights that support revenue optimization and operational efficiency. This role involves executing comprehensive data analysis, developing predictive models, and translating complex datasets into strategic business recommendations. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with the Director of Performance Analytics, cross‑functional teams including onboard revenue, F&B, operations, finance, and IT to deliver analytical projects that enhance guest experience and drive financial performance across the cruise portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with advanced analytics tools, and a background in hospitality, travel, or cruise industry analytics.

Responsibilities

Execute complex analytical projects using SQL, database management, and advanced analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Excel) across all categories (F&B, Shore Excursions, Photo, Retail, Spa, Art, Weddings, Connectivity) and hotel.

Develop performance dashboards, conduct trend analysis, and identify optimization opportunities that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Design and execute A/B tests, sensitivity analyses, and predictive models to validate business hypotheses and measure the impact of new initiatives.

Participate in sizing, design, and planning of beta tests for innovative ideas across OBR categories.

Define minimum viable products and perform statistical analysis to validate feasibility and scalability of solutions.

Develop and maintain automated reporting frameworks, KPIs, and performance metrics that provide visibility into OBR performance across multiple channels (pre‑cruise, app, onboard, bundled ticket sales).

Create executive‑level dashboards and reports that support strategic decision‑making and operational planning.

Partner with OBR, F&B, operations, finance, marketing, and IT teams to align analytical initiatives with business objectives.

Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.

Present data‑driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive teams.

Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities to navigate complex data challenges and provide innovative solutions to business problems.

Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within large datasets, develop statistical models, and create analytical frameworks that support both tactical and strategic decision‑making.

Work independently on analytical projects, troubleshoot data quality issues, and provide data‑driven recommendations that address business challenges across multiple OBR categories.

Contribute to the company’s financial performance through analytical insights that inform pricing strategies, product innovation, and operational improvements across the onboard revenue portfolio.

Support revenue optimization decisions, guest satisfaction initiatives, and cost management strategies.

Provide the analytical foundation that enables data‑driven decision making across all levels of the organization and supports the company’s growth objectives.

Exhibit strong individual‑contributor leadership skills, influencing cross‑functional teams through analytical expertise and data‑driven insights.

Serve as a subject‑matter expert in specific OBR categories, taking ownership of analytical projects.

Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments and present analytical findings with confidence to senior leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or related analytical field)

Minimum 3+ years of experience using Excel, pivot tables, and advanced analytical functions.

Proficiency in SQL and database querying languages; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar); solid foundation in statistical analysis and methodology; experience working with large datasets and complex analytical projects.

Understanding of business processes, financial analysis, and revenue management principles; knowledge of performance metrics and KPI development; experience with A/B testing and experimental design methodologies.

1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related analytical fields.

Proven experience with database management and SQL development; experience translating analytical insights into actionable business recommendations.

Background in presenting analytical findings to business stakeholders; experience working in cross‑functional teams within large organizations.

Experience in cruise, hospitality, travel, or retail industry analytics.

Knowledge of onboard revenue categories or similar hospitality revenue streams; experience with advanced statistical software (R, Python, SAS); background in revenue management or performance analytics; experience with agile development methodologies and prototype development.

Professional presentation skills with experience communicating complex data insights to non‑technical audiences.

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail; proactive and self‑driven, able to work independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team player with collaborative approach to problem‑solving; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast‑paced environment.

Curiosity and continuous learning mindset.

This position is considered Hybrid and follows the company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday).
