As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector – Base Compute Image, you will play a crucial role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market‑leading foundational technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Job Responsibilities

Create pipeline and tooling to produce highly secure and stable MacOS images and software solutions using CI & CD. Design, develop, and troubleshoot with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Develop secure, high‑quality production code, review and debug code written by others. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes‑oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading‑edge technologies. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Formal training or certification in Infrastructure Engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience. 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate, and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise. Hands‑on practical experience delivering secure system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Experience building infrastructure and solutions in the public cloud – specifically AWS (Amazon Web Services). Significant experience establishing and using Mobile Device Management with MacOS (JAMF). Advanced proficiency in one or more programming language(s). Proficiency in automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery methods. Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle. Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security. Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.). In‑depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems and practical cloud‑native experience. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Experience in Swift, Objective C, C++ and/or Xcode. About Us
