Full-time On-Site (CA)
Float is an early‑stage aerospace company developing advanced
airship systems
for large‑scale cargo applications. We are focused on solving hard aerospace problems and translating ambitious concepts into real, tested hardware. Our team is small, execution‑driven, and building a new airship platform from first principles.
The Role As a
Senior Avionics & Electrical Systems Engineer
, you will design, build, and integrate the electrical and avionics systems that enable safe, reliable operation of Float’s airship platform. This is a
hands‑on engineering role
focused on power distribution, sensing, flight‑critical electronics, and system integration.
You will work closely with structures, propulsion, and systems engineers to take avionics designs from early architecture through
physical hardware, testing, and iteration
.
