Key Duties and Responsibilities

Indirectly responsible for implementation and maintenance of certification department procedures and work instructions.

Directly responsible for generation of all project‑specific certification documentation that is assigned.

Reports on the performance of the certification activities for projects, ensuring conformity inspections and documentation are planned for and accomplished, and that all project conformity records have been submitted for review and approval.

Provides input on project budgets for projects.

Coordinates with the Director of Certification and FAA designees (FAA Projects).

Coordinates with Office of Airworthiness and EASA designees (EASA Projects).

Actively works with the quality assurance disciplines to ensure conformity inspections and documentation are planned for and accomplished, and that all project conformity records have been submitted for review and approval.

Job Requirements

A four‑year technical degree or a minimum of 6 years of industry experience in aircraft certification.

Strong knowledge of FAA Certification Procedures, FARs, and commercial aviation certification process.

Microsoft Office proficiency.

Strong verbal, technical writing, and written communication skills for internal company, customer, and authority interactions.

Hardworking, dependable, organized, and self‑disciplined.

Working Conditions Primarily office work with some travel required. Consistent use of computer keyboard and monitor. The actual duties, responsibilities and qualifications may vary based on assignment or group.
