Position Overview
Signature Integrity Software Team – Lead or Senior Project Engineer responsible for project alignment and development of systems for model-based engineering (MBE) and signature management. Responsibilities
Provide project leadership to a software development team representing multiple skill areas, including internal and external resources and customers Work with customers and management to obtain approvals Respond to changes to the Scope of Work, assess impact, and negotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to deliverables, resources, costs, and schedules Lead the project to complete the work statement Identify performance metrics, plan and coordinate resources required over the life of the project Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunities Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans Work under minimal direction Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 9 or more years’ related work experience (Level 4) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience 5+ years’ experience in engineering project planning or project management Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
14 or more years’ related work experience (Level 5) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience Knowledge of the full life cycle process of software systems and development Knowledge of development methodology and configuration software management tools and processes Experience working with customers 2 years’ experience developing project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and risks Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) 2+ years’ experience working with different engineering skill groups Basic experience utilizing digital tools such as JIRA, GitLab, Confluence, etc. for project management Strong written and verbal communication, including interface and presentation skills to all levels of employees and leadership 1 year of technical writing experience in work or internship(s) Prior exposure to Agile framework, but not required Location and Travel
100% onsite in Berkeley, MO. 5% time travel may be required domestically depending on business needs. Security Clearance
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required. U.S. citizenship required. Clearance active in the past 24 months considered active. Relocation
Position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Pay Range
Lead: $114,750 – $155,250 Senior: $140,250 – $189,750 Application Deadline
