Director, SAP S4 HANA Solution Architect - Utilities
KPMG Advisory practice is the fastest‑growing practice at KPMG and is looking for a Director‑level SAP S4 HANA Solution Architect to lead solution design, delivery, and advancement for the Utilities industry.
The role requires deep technical expertise in the SAP S4 HANA IS‑U platform, a proven record of delivering complex SAP engagements, and an ability to influence senior client and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities
Lead as a Solution Architect and technical expert within the SAP S4 HANA IS‑U platform, specializing in Power and Utilities clients. Drive strategic sales opportunities and oversee successful delivery of projects related to SAP, showcasing capabilities within the utilities sector. Collaborate in the creation and enhancement of Intellectual Property (IP) within KPMG’s Global SAP Community, focusing on innovations such as SAP AI and Build tailored to utilities. Provide expert guidance in support of KPMG tools, Accelerators, SAP Build and SAP Alliances programs; identify enhancement areas and develop new capabilities within the SAP S4 HANA Utilities domain. Contribute to development, refinement, and promotion of KPMG methodologies and tools to ensure widespread usage and effectiveness. Partner with KPMG Leadership to design and present the benefits of SAP AI and Build solutions to senior client management, facilitating solution development for sales opportunities. Qualifications
Minimum ten years of recent SAP S4 HANA expertise, including extensive end‑to‑end experience as a Platform Architect in the SAP newest architecture with a focus on SAP S4 HANA IS‑U. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Relevant certifications or practical experience with the SAP AI solution portfolio and/or SAP Build within the utilities domain. Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Functional Design principles, specializing in SAP S4 HANA Utilities. Proven track record driving internal transformation initiatives and influencing cross‑functional teams. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Willingness to travel as required to meet client and project needs. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship of an employment‑based visa now or in the future.
