We are seeking a
Python Developer / Support Engineer
for a hybrid role supporting an innovative GenAI platform used by 5,000+ internal users. This role blends hands‑on development, advanced troubleshooting, and user‑facing support within a complex AWS environment.
If you enjoy solving challenging problems, digging through logs, and working closely with users while also contributing to test automation and tactical development—this role is for you.
About the Role You will serve as the bridge between our GenAI platform and its user base—providing second‑level technical support, investigating issues across logs and cloud services, implementing bug fixes, and improving automated testing. The work is a mix of proactive support engineering and reactive issue resolution.
5+ years of Python development
PostgreSQL / relational database experience
(no modeling required)
Testing familiarity
(pytest or similar frameworks)
Log analysis
across
Splunk
and
CloudWatch
These are extremely important for the hiring manager:
Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical users
Empathy and patience—this role works directly with a large internal user base
Strong problem‑solving with a “detective mindset”
Curiosity and willingness to investigate complex issues
Humility — no egos, strong team mindset
Nice to Haves
Experience with
AWS Bedrock
GenAI
or LLM‑related knowledge
VueJS
(light exposure is fine)
Background in financial, regulatory, or government environments
What You'll Be Doing
Troubleshoot and resolve complex user issues across AWS services
Analyze logs (Splunk, CloudWatch) to identify root causes
Implement bug fixes and contribute to tactical development
Design and maintain test strategies and automation
Execute both manual and automated tests
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams
Improve system reliability and user experience
