Orthopedic Surgeon

– HMHMG Specialty Care, 570 Paramus, New Jersey

Overview Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship‑trained Orthopedic Surgeon to join our high‑volume practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive clinical and surgical care for patients with hip and knee conditions.

Perform primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, including robotic‑assisted surgery.

Cover a balanced schedule of approximately 2‑3 clinic days and 2‑3 OR days per week, depending on volume.

See patients at select office locations including Paramus, Montvale, North Bergen and Franklin Lakes.

Perform surgeries at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) and the Hackensack Musculoskeletal Surgical Center.

Participate in a call schedule of approximately 2‑4 nights per month.

Engage in teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students.

Highlights

Collaborative practice with 13 orthopedic surgeons and experienced support staff.

High‑volume hip and knee replacement practice with strong referral base.

Dedicated support from a Physician Assistant (PA) and a clinical assistant.

Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and active participation in the Orthopedic Surgery residency program.

Access to latest technology, including all major hip and knee replacement techniques and robotic platform.

Qualifications

M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction (Hip and Knee Replacement).

Active NJ Medical License, CDS, and DEA required or obtainable.

Compensation $457,293 (base salary). The posted rate is a reasonable good‑faith estimate of the minimum base pay. Total rewards package will be discussed during interview.
