Orthopedic Surgeon – Orthopedic Specialists of New Jersey
Location: Paramus, Montvale, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. A high-volume practice affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health.
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship‑trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a strong commitment to patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication, and experience in high‑volume hip and knee procedures.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical and surgical care for patients with hip and knee conditions.
Perform primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, including robotic‑assisted surgery.
Cover a balanced schedule of approximately 2‑3 clinic days and 2‑3 operating room days per week, depending on volume.
See patients at our office locations – Paramus, Montvale, North Bergen, and Franklin Lakes.
Perform surgeries at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) and the Hackensack Musculoskeletal Surgical Center.
Participate in a call schedule of approximately 2‑4 nights per month.
Engage in teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students.
Highlights

Work in a busy, high‑volume hip and knee replacement practice with a strong referral base.
Receive dedicated support from a Physician Assistant (PA) and a clinical assistant.
Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and active participation in the Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
Access to the latest technology, including all major hip and knee replacement techniques and robotic platforms.

Qualifications
M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized medical or osteopathic school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction (hip and knee replacement).
Active New Jersey Medical License, Criminal Disclosures System (CDS) clearance, and DEA registration.
Compensation Starting base salary: $457,293. Salary is benchmarked against market data and may vary based on experience and other factors. Full benefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans.
