Opportunity Details - NP/PA Hematology Oncology Opportunity in Edenton, NC# NP/PA Hematology Oncology Opportunity in Edenton, NCECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton, North Carolina, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their regional ECU Health Cancer Care Hematology Oncology practice. *Applicants with 2 years of oncology experience are preferred.*ECU Health Cancer Care is the largest provider of oncology services in Eastern North Carolina.Highlights include:* Employment by ECU Health Physicians* 100% outpatient clinical care* Established regional oncology practice which includes an infusion suite with 12 infusion spaces, 2 patient exam rooms, a team of experienced nurses and 1 nurse navigators* Monday-Friday schedule 8am– 4:30pm-No Call* Clinical responsibilities will include seeing patients in the clinical ambulatory setting for follow-ups, survivorship visits, symptom management, medication refills and chemotherapy oversight* Provider will be supported with both regional and telemedicine oncology oversight* Participation in tumor board conferences* Part of our nine-hospital cancer care network that includes a four-hospital ACoS-CoC Integrated Network Cancer Program, an ACoS-CoC Community Cancer Program, and two NAPBC accredited breast centers* Support from the ECU Health Cancer Center multidisciplinary team in Greenville, NC which includes medical, radiation and surgical oncology experts* Proximity to the beautiful beaches of the North Carolina coast* Comprehensive Benefit Package to include: Annual Stipend, Relocation Assistance, Vacation, Sick, & Holidays, Malpractice (with tail), 401k/457b, Medical, Dental, & Vision, Life InsuranceECU Health is a mission-driven, 1,708-bed academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties.
