Here is the job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday & Workato Integration Specialist to join our team. We are in the process of a new Workday implementation and need an expert to design, build, and test robust integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Workday and Workato, with a proven ability to provide strategic solutions and hands‑on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Strategy: Partner with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and design comprehensive integration solutions using Workday and Workato.
Development & Implementation: Build and configure complex integrations, including custom reports, APIs, and data transformation workflows, to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other business systems.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute detailed test plans, perform unit and end‑to‑end testing, and collaborate with teams to resolve defects and ensure data integrity.
Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including HR, IT, and external partners, to deliver integration projects on time. Provide guidance and expertise to junior team members as needed.
Support & Maintenance: Assist in post‑go‑live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of existing integrations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Workday integration development, with a deep understanding of Workday’s various integration tools (e.g., Core Connect, EIB, Studio).
Demonstrated experience with the Workato platform, including building recipes, managing connectors, and implementing API‑led integration strategies.
Strong knowledge of API technologies (REST, SOAP), data formats (XML, JSON), and data transformation concepts.
Experience with all phases of the system development life cycle (SDLC), particularly within an agile methodology.
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Workday certifications are a plus.
