This Full‑Time position reports to the Senior Manager and will serve as a key member of the UHealth IT team, leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of Epic Cupid for cardiology workflows.

Core Responsibilities

Collaborate with key stakeholders, end‑users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access.

Serve as the primary support contact for application end‑users.

Initiate the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application.

Lead all phases of testing and documentation of workflow design.

Analyze information technology in clinical work processes and validate the impacts to the workflow.

Identify issues and guide work to resolve them.

Support junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and day‑to‑day operations.

Collaborate with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.

Work with stakeholders, the business community, and end‑users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs.

Participate in on‑call rotations and support, and attend applicable committees.

Maintain regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings.

Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.

Remain knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations.

Adhere to University and unit‑level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.

Leadership & Oversight

Provide oversight and leadership to Associate Clinical Analysts and Clinical Analysts on the team.

Initiate the implementation, build, and modification of the application.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, end‑users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access.

Support junior staff members in day‑to‑day operations and resolve application issues.

Optionally work fully remote in the United States; expected to travel to the job site during go‑lives, conferences, and senior leadership meetings.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Epic Cupid Certification.

Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in healthcare or a healthcare‑related organization.

Previous operational, project management, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with cardiology workflows, regulatory requirements, integration points with other Epic modules, 3rd‑party cardiology diagnostic systems (invasive and non‑invasive), and patient experience.

Experience in cardiology practices in the inpatient and ambulatory care settings preferred.

Previous Epic Cupid implementation experience preferred.

Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

Proficiency in computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.

Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.

Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
