Job Summary & Responsibilities
Director of Nursing Perioperative Services at French Hospital Medical Center – a 98‑bed hospital located in San Luis Obispo.
We are offering a sign‑on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary. The role oversees daily operations of the Operating Room (OR), Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Ambulatory Services, and Sterile Processing. Responsibilities include supporting Nurse Managers and front‑line leaders, developing and managing budget, resource allocation, and strategy, and identifying process improvements to enhance patient experience. Expertise in surgical services, including CVOR and a Hybrid suite with Da Vinci Robot, and support for cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic, general, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology and neuro/orthopaedic spine services is required.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; Master’s degree in nursing or other related field (MSN/MBA/MHA) required.
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and two (2) years of leadership experience.
Licensure Requirements
Registered Nursing License (RN) in California
Basic Life Support (BLS)
