Akkodis is seeking a

Data Architect

for a Contract with a client in

Richardson, TX/Chicago, IL . Responsible for designing scalable data models and implementing ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.

Rate Range $49/hour to $53/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Architect job responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing logical and physical data models optimized for scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Developing and managing ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources and ensure seamless data flow.

Establishing and enforcing data security standards, including encryption, access controls, and compliance measures.

Defining and maintaining data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborating with stakeholders to align data architecture strategy with business goals and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and ETL development.

Strong expertise in designing logical and physical data models and implementing ETL pipelines for large-scale data integration.

Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure, including cloud‑native data services and security best practices.

Pay Details $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
