Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Nursing, based in the Greater Houston area. The Director of Nursing will oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the highest quality of care for residents. Responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and promoting infection control measures. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and supporting staff development.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Nursing and Medicine, with a strong foundation in patient care
Expertise in Nursing Management, including team leadership and departmental supervision
Knowledge of Long-term Care practices and procedures
Strong understanding of Infection Control protocols and implementation
Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in healthcare settings
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Prior experience in a long-term care setting is strongly preferred
