The Connexa Search Group is working with a privately owned organization seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to oversee financial leadership across the enterprise. This role is suited for a hands-on finance executive who is comfortable operating in a lean environment while partnering closely with ownership on both day-to-day execution and longer-term planning.
The CFO will have responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and strategic financial oversight across multiple entities, including an operating company with project-based activity and related investment structures.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership for accounting, financial reporting, and financial governance across multiple entities
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and performance reporting for an operating business with project-based revenue
Manage treasury functions including banking relationships, credit facilities, and liquidity planning
Ensure accurate costing, work-in-progress tracking, and financial visibility for ongoing projects
Coordinate with external advisors such as tax professionals, auditors, and legal partners
Develop and enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting processes appropriate for a privately held organization
Desired Background
Experience in senior leadership roles such as CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent
Strong experience within construction, real estate, development, or other project-driven operating environments
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
Hands‑on leader who is comfortable building structure, improving processes, and operating at both a strategic and tactical level
