What to Expect
Our team designs the software infrastructure that validates hundreds of Tesla circuit boards used in our autonomous robotaxi vehicles and Optimus robot.
What You'll Do
Design, review, test, and deploy software to automate the validation of Tesla circuit boards
Collaborate with firmware, hardware, reliability, and manufacturing teams to define test plans & infrastructure
Write software-controlled device drivers (Ethernet, SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, etc.)
Read circuit board schematics & technical documentation
Debug and resolve failures
Conduct thorough code reviews
Deliver robust, production-quality code
What You'll Bring
Strong programming proficiency in Python and C - Experience in automation preferred
Experience building and debugging complex systems, featuring deep software-hardware interaction
Experience working in Linux and Windows
Experience with version control (Git, GitHub)
Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including analog & digital circuits (MOSFETs, op-amps, regulators, gate drivers, microcontrollers, power dissipation, etc.)
Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, multimeters, etc.)
Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to tackle open-ended challenges using first principles and data driven methods

Expected Compensation $100,160 - $225,840/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
