About The Role – Engineering Coordinator The Engineering Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the day‑to‑day operation of the engineering department office. This individual will handle daily tasks related to the engineering colleagues, schedule third‑party vendors, dispatch calls, and manage organizational work to ensure the success of the Engineering Department. They will manage Hotsos, ensuring all tasks are assigned and completed in a timely manner; track departmental expenses, manage inventory control, handle contract administration, and maintain exceptional communication with all departments throughout the hotel, particularly housekeeping, the front office, and finance. The Engineering Coordinator will support the Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering in delegating work to the engineering colleagues, ensuring completion of tasks, and ensuring other areas of the hotel are supported by the Engineering function. The role reports directly to the Director of Engineering.
Wage Information The hourly wage for this position is $25.50. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.

Qualifications
Previous experience in hotels or resorts preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities required
Familiarity with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
Ability to create clear and engaging presentation materials
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Understanding of contract administration and insurance processes preferred
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
