Volta Medical is an innovative, data-inspired US and European-based startup aimed at creating and bringing to the market cutting‑edge AI software products to revolutionize interventional cardiac electrophysiology.
Volta has created a data collection and enrichment ecosystem for curated EP lab data which is fed into a physician validated, machine learning methodology to support complex AF solutions. Our newest technology, Volta AF‑Xplorer, is a data‑driven AI decision support system that easily integrates into the standard physician workflow, providing a patient‑tailored approach to complex AF and AT procedures.
Our dynamic, innovative team is made up of 100+ collaborators in the EU and USA from a wide variety of backgrounds including engineers, business professionals and physicians, working together to develop AI solutions that help electrophysiologists help patients.

Key Responsibilities
Providing analysis and interpretation of the business implications of policy issues to cross‑functional stakeholders
Support a proactive, comprehensive CMS strategy to maximize patient access
Advise and prepare guidance on coverage, coding, and payment for US products
Interpret existing and emerging payer policies, competitive landscape, trends, pricing, contractingstrategies, potential barriers to provider and patient access
Collaborate with external stakeholders as appropriate, including company participation ingovernment forums, physician society committees, and industry group meetings
Work across a matrix with colleagues in commercial, regulatory/medical affairs, patient advocacy,to achieve business goals.
Monitor global reimbursement agencies for activities of interest to Volta that shape theformulation of relevant public policy issues.
Develop payer and financial stakeholder value propositions and sales team tools to assist thecommercial team increase corporate and individual account penetration
Skills and Requirements
Demonstrated leadership ability to identify and focus on strategic priorities.
Exceptional project management skills required. Ability to manage numerous competing priorities under pressure while effectively collaborating with internal partners
Ability to process and work with Medicare and Commercial datasets
Strong familiarity with Medicare reimbursement, coverage, coding, and payment processes withspecial emphasis on US market
Familiarity with the process for applying for CPT, ICD‑10, NTAP and/or Pass‑Through payment
Strong oral and written communication skills to influence and effectively lead internal andexternal audiences to desired outcomes.
Sound business judgment and integrity and an ability to build credible, effective workingrelationships both internally and externally
Ability to anticipate the policy needs of the organization and proactively address them.
Excellent written communication skills, including writing about complex policy issues clearly andconcisely. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of opportunities and risks.
Demonstrated success in formulating health policy solutions and building consensus support withstakeholders
Experience with engagement with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) andphysicians who have influence on procedural guidelines
A strong team player
Experience
Experience with global healthcare systems and reimbursement.
Preferred experience in electrophysiology
BA/BS; an advanced degree in public policy, health policy, public health, or a related discipline ispreferred
Represent leadership on projects within multiple areas, interfacing with higher, equivalent andlower level internal and external representatives concerning projects, area decisions, schedulingrequirements, and/or contractual clarifications
Frequently called upon to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitivesituations, without damage to the relationship
Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
