Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive women’s health services, including obstetric and gynecological care, to promote optimal health outcomes for patients across all stages of life. Your expertise will support both routine screenings and complex medical conditions, ensuring compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments related to obstetrics and gynecology.
Manage prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and family planning services with precision and empathy.
Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
Interpret medical imaging results including ultrasound and mammography to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
Perform procedures such as suturing, cervical biopsies, IUD insertions, and other minimally invasive interventions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neonatology, radiology, pathology, and anesthesiology to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide patient education on reproductive health, contraception options, menopause management, and preventive screenings.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient records.
Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at advancing women’s health practices.
Support inpatient and outpatient services across hospital settings, including Level I trauma centers when necessary.
Experience
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Proven experience in obstetric management, including labor & delivery and postpartum care.
Strong familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management.
Experience performing gynecological procedures like suturing, biopsies, hysteroscopy, or minimally invasive surgeries.
Knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine principles along with neonatal care experience is highly desirable.
Prior work in hospital settings or Level I trauma centers preferred; inpatient experience is essential.
Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology relevant to OB/GYN practice along with CPT coding proficiency for billing purposes.
Ability to handle complex cases involving high-risk pregnancies or gynecological emergencies confidently.
