Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to provide comprehensive women’s health care services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in obstetrics and gynecology, with expertise in managing a wide range of reproductive health issues, prenatal care, and surgical procedures. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment, emphasizing patient-centered approaches and multidisciplinary collaboration. The OB/GYN will be instrumental in promoting women’s health through preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and education.
Duties
Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments for women across all age groups.
Manage prenatal care including routine check-ups, ultrasounds, and monitoring fetal development using advanced medical imaging techniques.
Perform gynecological procedures such as Pap smears, biopsies, and minimally invasive surgeries with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that incorporate maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, and perioperative care.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and EMR systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
Provide family planning counseling, contraception management, and menopause support tailored to patient needs.
Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance obstetric and gynecological practices while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Offer patient education on health maintenance, lifestyle modifications, and post-operative or postpartum recovery strategies.
Skills
Extensive knowledge of obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, and maternal-fetal medicine principles.
Proficiency in using EHR systems such as Epic and other EMR platforms for documentation and patient management.
Experience with medical imaging modalities including ultrasound and CT scans relevant to obstetric assessments.
Familiarity with perioperative care protocols, anesthesia considerations, and post-operative management.
Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments with attention to detail.
Knowledge of infection control practices, HIPAA compliance, and patient safety standards within inpatient or outpatient settings.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient service delivery, health coaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
