We are scaling quickly and expanding our partner ecosystem. We need a proven operator who can build, run, and grow a world class partnerships organization from the ground up.
The Role: VP of Partnerships We are looking for a seasoned, execution first partnerships leader who knows how to build an ecosystem that generates measurable pipeline producing partnerships and revenue. This is a role for someone who has done it before and is ready to do it again at a company with a massive market opportunity and a clean runway to build something exceptional.
You will own the strategy, the structure, and the day-to-day execution of ShipSigma’s partner ecosystem, including:
Strategic alliances
Technology integrations
Channel partnerships
E-commerce and supply chain ecosystem partners
Private equity and portfolio engagement
Co-selling and co-marketing programs
Partner-sourced and partner influenced revenue
This role reports directly to the CRO and works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and the Executive Team.
What You Will Build and Own 1. Partnership Strategy and Ecosystem Design
Architect the end-to-end partnership ecosystem for 2026 and beyond
Define the categories of partners who generate the highest leverage, including private equity, third‑party logistics providers, ecommerce platforms, sustainability partners, workflow tools, consultants, and more
Build a repeatable and scalable model for partner‑sourced and partner‑influenced pipeline
Create a structured segmentation and prioritization model for every partner type
2. Execution and Revenue Ownership
Deliver ninety‑six or more partner‑qualified leads annually
Drive measurable partner‑sourced revenue and expansion
Build the dashboards, KPIs, and operating rhythm needed to track success
Work directly with Sales leadership to ensure partners produce real opportunities
Own partner forecasting and revenue contribution targets
3. Build the Function from Zero
Develop all partner processes, frameworks, agreements, and workflows
Stand up partner onboarding, certification, and enablement programs
Implement the partner portal and partner reporting infrastructure
Create all partner playbooks, messaging, and field toolkits
Design and launch a scalable referral program
4. Co‑Marketing and Thought Leadership
Launch ecosystem‑wide webinars, content, and events
Build cross‑partner marketing motions with e‑commerce, private equity, and strategic alliances
Increase ShipSigma’s visibility in key verticals through published content and joint case studies
5. Private Equity Partnership Expansion
Deepen existing private equity relationships and expand into new firms
Build a repeatable program for portfolio‑wide engagement
Create a standard analysis package and value framework for private equity operators
Partner with deal teams and value creation teams to accelerate adoption
6. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales on deal cycles, co‑selling motions, and intro paths
Collaborate with Product on integration strategies and long‑term ecosystem value
Work with Marketing on positioning, event strategy, and content
Partner with Finance on forecasting and revenue modeling
What You Bring Experience
Eight to fifteen or more years in Partnerships, Channel, Strategic Alliances, or Business Development
Proven history of building a partnership organization from scratch and scaling it
Track record of delivering revenue with clear proof of contribution
Experience in high‑growth SaaS, logistics, ecommerce, supply chain, or analytics environments
Deep understanding of partner‑sourced pipeline motions and revenue models
Experience building systems and processes that drive adoption and consistency
Execution Skills
Builder mentality that thrives in white space and creates structure
Data‑driven operator who converts partnerships into measurable outcomes
Hands‑on executor who is comfortable owning the entire function
