Scope The Wet Lab Technician must be able to perform all lab analysis using burettes, pipettes, pH/ion meters, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, laboratory balance, hydrometers, hull cells, CVS, and all other lab related equipment. The technician will perform all lab analysis and special tests for reporting to Plating Managers and Process Engineers. Exposure to hazardous waste will occur while performing daily job duties. Technicians will undergo Chemical Handling training prior to performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all lab analysis and special tests of chemicals used in the wet process areas

Accurately report chemical analysis and tests to Plating Managers and Process Engineers

Make all chemical additions and bath make‑ups

Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately

Keep accurate up‑to‑date records regarding current baths on the production floor

Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on most lab equipment, chemical controllers, pumps, and other lab related equipment

Interact with vendors and visitors

Perform lab inventory and identify chemicals and equipment needed to order

Assist in writing departmental instructions and procedures

Effectively run all equipment in the department

Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals

Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace

Use all required Personal Protective Equipment

Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately

Essential Knowledge and Skills

Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job

Ability to handle chemicals and equipment safely

Excellent attention to details

Able to lift 25 pounds

Education and Experience

Experience handling chemicals

Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field preferred

Compensation and Benefits TTM offers a variety of health and well‑being benefit programs. Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies vary depending on a wide array of factors considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience and training, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role; compensation decisions are dependent on individual circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$42,721 - $67,527 .

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Export Statement Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents; b) recognition of foreign visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the U.S.; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
