Overview The Branch Manager is accountable for the overall operation of the ResCare HomeCare or All Ways Caring Branch. They manage all aspects of branch sales and service delivery to meet and exceed financial targets (sales, fees, gross profit, and contribution). The role builds and maintains relationships with key clients and business leaders in the community, local, regional, and corporate management while focusing on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Administration/Finance:
Managing quality management system initiatives; proactively identifying and assessing risks and costs associated with workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, extended payment terms and bad debt.
Analyzing monthly financial statements and implementing strategies to increase profitability; managing operating expenses (P&L responsibility) to maximize contribution; developing and executing branch’s annual business plan.
Service Management:
Ensuring every client is served and provided exemplary service to optimize utilization.
Maintaining strong relationships with referral partners, payor sources, and clients; managing on-call as needed.
Sales and Marketing:
Managing sales and service processes, including territory management, recruiting/sourcing sales, campaign/blitzes, lead generation, cold and canvass calls, appointments, proposals, pricing models, presentations, and documentation of agreements.
Networking via community organizations, engaging subject matter experts, and ensuring awareness of prospect/customer service requirements.
Maintaining knowledge of personal care services and product offerings; capitalizing on labor/business/community issues to grow market share.
Achieving sales targets, ensuring industry and service line mix; leading branch participation in HomeCare sales programs and contests; managing territory for efficient strategy.
Executing the branch’s annual business plan.
Talent Management:
Selecting, training, and developing staff; monitoring performance, setting expectations, coaching, recognizing achievements, and promoting leadership initiatives.
Coaching the service team on unemployment and workers' compensation claim management.
Qualifications
BS degree preferred (business, nursing, social services or related) but not required with equivalent experience.
1+ years of supervisory experience required.
1+ years of sales or marketing experience in health care or related setting preferred.
Experience managing systems, processes, and people.
Must be bilingual in Russian/Ukrainian and English with Home Care experience.
Excellent verbal communication with all personnel.
Strong business relationship building skills.
Excellent problem‑solving skills to handle client and employee issues.
Ability to work flexible hours and after hours as needed.
