Job Duties
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and maintain daily sanitation standards.
Training Orientation and training are provided on the job.
Communication Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions and Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Strong verbal, written and telephone skills.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions Exposures include varying weather when removing trash or outside tasks; in‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas; sudden changes in temperature; food odors and cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Sensing includes hearing on telephone, near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Physical Demands
Standing most tasks, walking on tile or linoleum, navigating heights 36–48”.
Walking in short distances for short durations.
Sitting for paperwork at a desk.
Lifting bulk deliveries up to 50 lbs, with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5’.
Carrying items up to 30 lbs from storage to front of store.
Pushing or pulling trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lbs required.
Climbing stairs or ladders to change prices on signs or perform maintenance.
Bending forward at the waist at the pizza assembly station; repeated for 30–45 seconds per cycle.
Crouching or squatting occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
Reaching above 72” to operate oven controls or change signs.
Frequent hand, forearm and wrist use for shaping dough and using pizza peel and cutter.
Additional Information – Delivery/Store Management Duties
Deliver product by car to customer door; distribute flyers and door hangers.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle.
Navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings and private homes while carrying product.
Driving, walking between store and delivery vehicle, and climbing up to five flights of stairs during delivery.
