Job Summary Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Shift
Full-Time Night Shift – 6:45 pm to 7:15 am (three 12‑hour shifts per week)
Shifts rotate throughout the week
Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs
All employees (night shift & PRN) must attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours in the first week of employment
Position Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
One of the following:
Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical)
Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required)
Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician
Preferred Qualifications

CARE PARTNER PATIENT DOCUMENTATION (Novice): Independently works with clinical applications for patient documentation.
ENVIRONMENT OF CARE (Novice): Demonstrates ability to set up and maintain patient rooms, supplies, and equipment.
PLANNING & ORGANIZING (Novice): Demonstrates ability to anticipate basic resource needs, identify discrete tasks, and organize work for own assignments.
Core Accountabilities
Performs routine tasks that may impact team performance with occasional guidance.
Utilizes discretion and research to solve routine problems.
Applies knowledge of standards and established processes that apply to the job.
