Primary Responsibilities
Provide technical support on network and cabling issues Support the LAN and WAN infrastructure, remote sites and data centers. Troubleshoot network and cabling problems and coordinate with the various department administrators to facilitate troubleshooting efforts Participate in lab configuration and testing of new technologies Prepare network topology diagrams, write Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance plans and provide status reports as required Participate in data calls and other operational and maintenance tasks Qualifications
8+ years experience in a Network Engineering role 3+ years experience of Cisco ISE, Aruba wireless and Clearpass Cisco Routers and Switches hands-on experience Ability to communicate designs and network concepts to a variety of audiences, including peers and customers, verbally and in writing Experience configuring and running firewalls is preferred Experience with Fortinet is a plus Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocol/technologies Experience with Aruba Wireless network is a plus General understanding of project management processes and terminology Ability to multitask and set priorities Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is desirable Background check / Clearance Requirements:
